Angeles City Pampanga- Malaus Co Pu (Tuloy po kayo!)

I really do love this city I've called home for all of my years.

Today, Angeles City known as the "entertainment city" of Central Luzon and the former home of the biggest American Base lies in a threshold of change after being severely affected by the Base pull out brought about the great eruption of Mt. Pinatubo 1991. It is now rising from the ashes by putting itself back to the economic status that it once occupied and dream surpassing feats never before any city or province has ever accomplished.

Angeles City is locally classified as a first-class, highly-urbanized city.
It is near the Clark International Airport and Clark Special Economic
Zone (formerly Clark Air Base).

Getting There:
Angeles City is easily accessible by land and air.

Accommodation:

Angeles City has good numbers of decent and affordable accommodation for business and leisure travelers alike.
If you want better accommodations, try the resorts and hotels around the city.

Eating out:
Angeles has been dubbed the "Entertainment Capital of Central Luzon."
According to the Center for Kapampangan Studies, the dish sisig originated in this city and has been on the menu since the 1730s. Thus Angeles has also become well-known as the culinary center of Pampanga.

Nightlife and Entertainment:

There are lots of nightlife and entertainment venues here in Angeles City, most of which are for adults. However, if you are looking for tamer entertainment, you can try the karaoke bars.

Attractions:

There are lots of things to see and do around Angeles City.

The Clark Special Economic Zone (CSEZ) is setting out to become the hub for business, industry, aviation, and tourism in the Philippines as well as the entertainment and gaming centre of Asia.

Our "katutubo's" Aetas trained as tourism tour guides for the Freeport and the Clark Special Economic Zone.
In this picture below we had a great time with the Aeta's while we are spending our family day at the park in Clark.

A slideshow of some places we visited inside Clark Zone:

Choose from the 11 duty free shops and numerous bars and restaurants located inside the secured boundaries of the zone. Mix business, leisure and fitness in any of the world-class championship golf courses at the Mimosa Fontana Resort and Country Clubs. Enjoy sky diving, off-road driving, or go on an aerial tour of Mt. Pinatubo.
Join the thrill of the Hot Air Balloon Fiesta in February.

A lots of places of interest and Tourist Attraction inside Clark.
Loads of choices, and you haven’t left the economic zone yet!?

Shopping comes inseparable in a place like Clark and most definitely in the Philippines in general. Clark also hosts its very own Shoemart, otherwise known as SM Holdings Company Mall, the country’s leading mall chain. SM City Clark near the main gate is one of the latest in the chain and a personal extension of Clark exemplifying a class-act mall. You’ll love SM Clark’s outdoor fountain-embellished dining area complete with a Duty-Free Stores in Clark Zone, Pampanga stage showcasing local and national talent.

My family and I love to go out for bonding, especially on weekends, and our favorite place in which to do it is at SM City Clark, it's a two storey shopping mall that offers some of the best slices of the city.
Most of special events in our life like my kids birthday are spent in this mall we called our second home.

This mall is for the whole family. You can easily spend the whole day here with your family. There's the SM Department store, a Hypermarket for your grocery needs, a home furnishing store, an appliance center. 6 movie theaters, restaurants, kiddie rides, record bars,a sports shop. a hardware store, computer shops, telecom shops, name it and they have it! You can also have your money exchanged at the currency exhange of the department store or at banks inside the mall.

See below picture's of us spending quality bonding time at SM City Clark:

At this shopping center, there is something new and exciting to which to look forward every month. Periodic sales and in-store promotions constantly offer welcome twists to my shopping experience. I mark major clearance sales on my calendar knowing those are the best times to score big-ticket items without the steep prices attached to them, from high fashion to premium furniture. What’s more, catch live entertainment and occasionally win incredible prizes.

Now, would this be a chance for me to fill this cart of item's from SM City Clark?

What else can I ask for in my beloved city?
Come and visit here!

Malaus Co Pu (Tuloy po kayo!)...
