Getting our baby or toddler to sleep through the night can be one of the most difficult experiences of parenthood.
Bedtime routines are safe, effective, and usually the standard treatment intervention for toddlers and infants with sleep problems.
So lucky, I have not experienced any difficulties for Chloe and Aven to sleep when they still an infant.
One of my best reason is I'm a proud breastfeeding Mom, best bonding ever had with my daughters. No wonder in many benefits of breastfeeding and one of it is a good sleep for our baby.

I love lying down with my 2 daughters at the end of the day and letting them fall asleep in my arms when they are still a baby after I nurse them and now they are a sweet toddlers, I cherish each moment with them especially a night on my side.


Our bed time routines to share:




A WARM BATH

"Our bedtime ritual consists of a warm bath in which I let them play.
Having a bath at day and night together is a happy and learning time moment
especially brushing our teeth together while singing(in a tune of Row Row Row Your Boat):

Get them shiny clean
over under
front and back
and even in between!

It's a fun bonding moments together that kids enjoyed a lot!

MASSAGE and a short CHIT-CHAT

I give them a massage with Johnson&Johnson Lavender Bedtime Lotion for about 15 minutes. A drop of lotion with our calm hands in their soft skin will make us happy to make this activity a part of every evening. While having a massage we chat also about the story we read and what they learn.
A massage is a relaxing technique that calms, soothes and relaxes our baby/kids. It is also a wonderful bonding method and is very much enjoyed by both parents and baby.


A PRAYER, SWEET GOODNIGHT KISSES & A LULLABY

At young age, I let them know the importance of praying together as a family.
I turn off the lights, have a sweet goodnight kisses while playing a classical CD but most of the time they most love me to sing a lullaby for them.


Now it's time to close their eyes...
Quietly off to dreamland...

A Fun-Friendly Toothbrush for our Kids

I have two girls.
Amber Chloe is 5 yrs and 1 month and
Princess Aven is 4 yrs and 2 months.

Since birth, I make sure to prioritize their oral hygiene, even without no teeth yet it’s important to begin taking care of an infant’s gums shortly after birth through running a damp washcloth over your baby's gums.

Now as a Mom of a two toddler I know how hard it can be to get your child to brush his/hers teeth every day and for as long as needed. We have gone trough many excuses on why Princess doesn’t feel like it.

What I did is I let my kids to pick out the supplies. There are lots of fun character toothbrushes and toothpastes on the market. Escort my kids to the store, and have them pick out their favorite.

Make it a family affair. I brush my teeth alongside my kids, and to make it more fun sometimes we do it at the front of the mirror. Sometimes, when their dad is at home early we do it as a family, that serve as our bonding moments.



Stick to a schedule. Kids like routine, so set regular teeth brushing times, and stick to them. Before long, it'll just become a part of their day.

What I’ve realized is that as with everything else children need to be interested. The task itself has to be fun.



Since my kids love to brush their teeth, it's really not hard to convince or force them. However, we've been into different brands of toothbrush! I'm looking for a friendly toothbrush for my kids, not just the appearance or how soft it's brittle's but on how it will help my kids to have more fun in brushing their teeth.
